Peer Educators:
Organize, develop, and market educational programs and activities for fellow college students. These programs and activities are designed to provide accurate information on sexual health, nutrition, stress management, cancer prevention, and other wellness issues.
Present health education programs to UNCW community (Residence Halls, UNI classes, HAHS courses, Greek Life, student organizations, etc.)
Gain skills in communication, organization, time management, program development and outreach, evaluation techniques, the use of audiovisual equipment, office management, and presentation/teaching methods.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training events, including training on Wednesday, August 17th, from 9am-5pm, Thursday, August 18th, from 10-4pm, and Friday, August 19th from 10-4pm.
Work 10 hours per week (working around class schedule).
